Silicone render
Silicone is flexible, water-repellent and self-cleaning. On exposed Pennine and coastal sites it resists algae and green staining far better than older finishes.
Monocouche
Monocouche is a through-coloured single coat, typically scraped to a textured finish. It is cost-effective and never needs painting, but can show staining on north-facing Yorkshire walls.
Our recommendation
For most Yorkshire homes, especially north-facing or exposed elevations, we recommend a silicone topcoat for its long-term appearance.
